Accessibility statement

MyViro works to improve content accessibility in accordance with the principles of Israeli Standard 5568 at the AA level, and by applying additional adjustments from WCAG 2.2. The technical tests are not a confirmation of full compliance with all standard requirements.

Reading and navigation

Skip link to content, hierarchical headings and named navigation areas.
Keyboard operation, visible focus and focus handling in menus and table of contents links.
Labels for searching and filtering, notifications about search results and ranking and copying operations.
Alt text for images, titles for tables and scrolling areas are accessible to the keyboard.
Adaptation to small screens and the request to reduce traffic in the operating system.

The accessibility menu

The accessibility button is in the lower left corner. You can enlarge text up to 200%, turn on high contrast, highlight links and titles, space text, choose a simple font, reduce motion, hide images and enlarge the cursor. The reset button returns the site view to the default. The adjustments are saved in the browser's local storage and are not sent to the server.

Keyboard and mobile use

Tab and Shift+Tab move between controls, Enter activates links and buttons, and Space activates buttons and drop-down menus. Escape closes the accessibility window and returns the focus to the open button. You can also use the browser's built-in zoom. In wide tables you can scroll horizontally; On the keyboard, reach the table area using Tab and use the arrows.

Videos and known limitations

Video pages use YouTube players with a title, full-screen controls and a close button that works with a keyboard. Videos do not autoplay. Captions and player controls are supplied by YouTube and the video publisher; captions and complete transcripts have not been verified for every video. The guides can be read in English without watching, but are not full transcripts of the videos. A complete manual assessment with screen readers and other assistive technology has not yet been carried out.
